did one last yr on my actual birthday on sunday. cos b'day monday still be doing a sunday lunchtime bbq
very select affair m8........admittance strictly by invitation only !!
or that would be waived on delivery of a couple of bottles of nice red wine rioja or st emillion required
so your order is only for food.....no alcohol

I don't see the problem, its not like you have to read them is it? You don't download them unless you want to read them, so why are people moaning?
If you complained, and your reading this... why? It quite clearly says the subject is "Counter Strike".

If they want something to whinge about, they should complain about the number of idiot posts from a certain female superhero in general
It's not like anyone is forced to read the CS threads.

Mike : i agree and i said that to both of them.
they have had 'whingers' (imho and not the opinion of Scoobynet or any other STi member!!) who said they would not look in the forum cos it was 50%+ full of CS threads
i made the point that its surely not a problem to search to page 2 etc but...........
if Dam can get the BBS Forum sorted on the website in near future then it might not be a problem.
Andrew : i said all that.....we're posting in the rite forum, its not offensive.....one could say the muppet forum is a waste of time / space etc etc (but i like it and i post in there!!)
i'm trying to be sensible with them and discuss options etc
the growth of STi in the past few months has been phenomenal and you only have to look back over the past couple of weeks to see the number of CS threads we've posted.....
once only i posted CS threads for booked sessions....now you're all at !!!!
i've got more discussion to have with the 'powers that be' to see what we can do.
i've formally requested a Computer Games Forum to ChrisB as this forum moderator.
(i fancy moderating it.....oh the power )
just stick with me for a few days and be sensible posting NEW threads.....

Getting more annoyed now.
Since when have I complained about postings in the Muppet forum? It doesn't cause me any problems about the sheer number of *pointless* posts in there !!!! So why are people complaining about CS posts? Each to their own.
Do I have to sit and read that posting with gawd knows how many pages in it where you have to only post three words? No, because I choose not to. Does it cause me any harm? No. Does it increase my call costs? No (only if I choose to read them). So why would I complain? I wouldn't, because Im not that sad.

I think you'll find the problem is that peoples genuine Computer Related problems & questions are getting pushed aside due to amount of CS threads. A Gaming section would be far more suitable for these sort of posts. Or perhaps another BBS ? I can understand peoples annoyance and I think that a constant daily flood of posts about a single subject that is of no interest to you would prove equally as irritating to you. No ?
