Default Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

Anybody else got/played this yet?

i must say the single player makes Call of Duty 4 single player look like an epic story (i.e. it's fecking short)and the multiplayer is just so indifferent (maps are a lot nicer though)

Seriously thinking of getting this. Really like GRAW1/2 and COD4.

Would i be impressed with this game?

Also, does it have 2 player online co-op?

Co-op online and offline.

Graphically very good (uses the Unreal engine) very similar to GRAW as it's a tactical shooter

Just been on-line playing co-op Terrorist hunt. Now has a better scoring system using XP points. Even when you die you get 10 points for every kill someone else gets. Currently at Sargent.

the ranking level is certainly better as it explains how to get points insteading of guessing how far to the next level.

Also heres a tip. When playing the story mode, try picking up as much weaponary as you can. I managed to get hold of an AK-47 with 6x scope, which I now use on the co-op live maps.

All I can say is that is when I first got hold of the game (XBOX360), I started playing off-line in story mode, and ended up swapping my standard weapon given with the AK-47 and picked up an E-21 from the dead terrorists. When I started playing co-op terrorist hunt I started off with those weapons. And yes you can still unlock the extra weapons.

quite fancy this, but think i will wait for a cheap preowned copy, i doubt its as polished as COD4 so dont want to splash out £40.

still looks a good blast

also found out it is bugged to **** as well.

First played half of it (online) with ½ the fecking scenery missing,1 level i couldn't open any doors (yes they did say press 'A' to open) but my teamates could.

jpor i just use the MP9 and g3ka4

Sticky, not as polished as it still uses the original game engine (which is pretty good imo) but it seems to me the story is just an add on rather than a full sequel.

Hear what your saying. But the Enemy AI is a lot tougher in this version. And at the moment I havent had the mis-fortune of coming across any mouthy americans (YET!)

Its improved in many ways apart from 2 imho.

1) New maps - most are just too big for playing decent deathmatch type games. End up playing Kill House & Streets mostly (which was in the first one) and Villa.
2) Limited respawns on deathmatch - why? - unlimited in the first game. In R6V2 you can die a couple of times early in a 20 min game and then have to sit out the next 15 minutes watching everyone else. I played a few rounds and the amount of people leaving the games was huge.

I am through the Sergeant ranks now but for me the drive to get to Elite isn't as great in the second one for some reason.

Found the quickest way to rank up is playing co-op terrorist hunt on Kill House, set at realistic (so kills are worth more points etc)

Oh - and anyone else figured out how to get all 3 ACES achievements (level 20) very very quickly, unlocking all available points and weapons? I did, and its so easy I wonder why the game lets you do it.

that's what one of my mates said to me today, so i got out my copy of cod, and started playing it again, but this time on veteran

after dieing lots, i thought **** it, and started playing the multiplayer instead, and happily sat all afternoon shooting people

got some games to trade in myself, not sure what to trade them in against

Played this today not having played the first, utter boring crap, repetition is rediculous and game is very short, average shooter at best. gfx are toss, teammates ai is shocking, it's supposed to be a tactical shooter, hence the 101 configurations of your weapons yet it makes no difference to the game play, surely this should of be a £15 add-on pack?
