Default another Ipod question

once again the poxy pod is being a pain.

due to only having limited space on the pod, i only want the contents of one folder copied onto it.

i cleared everthing out, and created a new folder on the side bar thingy.

i clicked add new folder, and highlighted the folder of songs i want.

now in apples ***** waving way, its added everthing to the pod list thing,

FFS i only want 1gb of songs, not 56gb

why oh why do i put up with this pos interface.

any ideas, ?

i,m seriously thinking of destroying this ipod with a hammer.

i hate itunes with a vengence

Destroy it and buy something else, like a guitar or a kazoo. You don't mix well with modern technology and it seems to be making you ill.

ive deleted itunes and am currently installing one of the alternate front ends.

why should you have f*ck about with usless front ends that in all honesty should allow simple things like drag & drop

I dont want fancy playlists or mood music, i just want to play music

Why do people make things hard for themselves?

SWMBO has a nano. I have a folder in iTunes for the Nano. the Nano syncs with this folder. I drag and drop items in and out of this folder as desired.

It really is that simple.

Alternatively, don't sync and just drag/drop from iTunes to the Nano.

easy.

Or if this is still really too difficult for you then there are plenty of 3rd part apps to sync your iPod. Try them and see what you think.

Exactly, I dont understand what all the fuss is about regarding the iTunes interface, find it simple and easy to use.

So you can drag and drop? Now that's funny. I just sync a few smart playlists on my iPhone. Will have to give that a go.

Mart, you work for Microsoft in the Zune department don't you, maybe for Creative? Come on, own up.

Just add folder to library (the album you want) then highlight all, drag and drop onto your ipod, thats all Ive ever done and works perfectly, infact it drags it across quicker than my old mp3 player rather than copying and pasting stuff. Much easier IMO
