rootkit - indt2.sys - can someone help me remove it ?

Default rootkit - indt2.sys - can someone help me remove it ?

Searched around the web for indt2.sys but can't seem to find anything that will help me remove it.

Has anyone come across it ?

INDT2.SYS, Prevx

Alternatively boot into recovery console and delete the file

Cheers Sonic - I checked PrevX but I actually have to, (gulp) PAY FOR IT !!

Every time I delete the file, it rears its ugly head again.

Did you delete the file from the recovery console?

Also run some tools to have a look at your startup items, so that it makes it harder for the software to reinstall itself. Startup List is a free app, I think WinPatrol do a free version etc.

check it hasnt put itself in the dllcache folder too, if it has you will have to delete it from there first
