I am happy where I am as a DBA (SQL/Oracle) but its usually down to salary, DBA's are a fickle and greedy bunch, needs to be 40k plus these days to get anyone who knows their stuff. make sme laugh when I see adverts for 25k requesting all sorts of in depth technical knowledge, if you are that good you contract for £400 a day !
