what a great game this is online ...... the rank and unlock system really makes you go back for more.

I'm upto rank 9 now after 1hr online. Looking at some of the lads on the Snet list (360) Zetec andy has racked up 9 days of play ( and that's counted as 24hr days )

I am level 55,But I have no desire to go into prestige mode and do it all again. I have no interest in having a little badge next to my name - No way am I trading in my MP44 for that

so when you top out you have to make a choice to loose all the perks and unlocks ?

it seems a little unfair that the better you are the faster you get the better guns to make you better !!

Yup at level 55 you can chose to stay as you are, or to trade it all in and start from scratch again. And you can do that 6 times.

I think he perks do a job in levelling the playing field with regards to weapon, and to be honest some of the guns are just a ciuriosity and you use them to get the achievment rather than them being any good - A G3 with Stopping power is just as good as an M14 (which you unlock at level 48 i think) and an M4 is the best fully automatic assault rifle, and the RPD is more useable than the M60.

I suppose the P90 has a bit of an advantage in the SMG category

The only really good gun that you get (if you can handle the recoil) later is the MP44, which is stupidly powerful.

I've mainly been getting my @ss kicked but it's all good fun. Still don't know the maps or the clash points. Coming back from 2 months of Forza takes a bit of work on the old FPS skills. upto rank 16 now I think ....

The main thing that pisses me off lately is Halo noobs, you know, the ones that jump and drop to the ground or start side stepping and dancing about, i really hate that!

Fire and move, never remain in the same position to long as with deep impact perk bullets will go through most things.

And watch out for n00b tubers

ffs use the kill cam the amount of numb nuts that stay in the same position after they've killed people is unbelieveable, thew amount of easy kills i get is stupid.

Neanderthal nothing like g/ing someone and it doesn't go off and all you hear is thmup.

I'm level 55 can't be bothered with prestige just getting the gold weapons for a bit of bling on the battlefield.

Another one who can't be asked to go Prestige, been level 55 for about 36 hours (game time). Don't play it a much now, working on accuracy and kill/death ratio which is quite fun

just unlocked the red dot sight for my assault rifle it's much easier to hit things with that sight on

Prestige means you lose EVERYTHING and restart but you do get a funky new badge per level of prestige whoop de doo oither then that i'm not sure.

Ive done it 8 times now, it gets boring when you reach level 55 and cant rank up, i personally miss the rewards of unlocking items.

I reckon without the incentive to 'level up' it could get a little boring?
Having said that, I'm not sure I'd go to prestige mode as it's taken me long enough to got to level 50 so far

Oh a tip if it's not already been said, to level up as quickly as possible, play the Headquarters game mode.

I always play search and destroy, if your good enough you can easily come away with 1000+ XP Points.

i just play team death match, but i have not played the game since i completed the single player mode

must get back into this at some point, i was planning on finishing the campaign on the standard difficulty, then leaving it and playing a few different games, then coming back to it after a few months and doing it all on veteran, but this post has made me remember just how good the multiplayer is

Juggernaut is pretty fecking irritating as well.
I play as if everybody has martyrdom on so very rarely get caught by it.

I play hardcore team death match as it gets rid of the martydom guys and if they still have it selected in hardcore they end up killing a few team mates as well plus you don't get the kill cam which can give away your postion.

I'm on level 39 and not sure if I can be bothered to go round again, don't get on enough to get ranked up quick.

seriously it gives you better health regeneration so will take more shots to kill you except headshots i think (a few times i've killed people with juggernaut with sniper rounds to the head).

Well it a trad eoff - If you use Juggernaut, then you can't use slight of hand, or stopping power or any of the other second tier perks.

Personally I never touch it - I think that stopping power is a far more effective perk.
