Nod32 v3.0 Email scanning in windows Mail Query/issue
Just upgarded to v3.0 (antivirus only) in Vista x64.
And since have noted some funny goings on in my email.
I don't often recieve viruses in my mail, but since upgarding, my spam has decreased.
And when looking, I noted that when it downloads new email, the dialogue box says downloading xx no. of emails. During this, "temp eset antivirus" folder briefly appears within the deleted items folder - with some unread messages in, which then disappears as quickly as it appears before I have chance to look at it. Then I see fewer emails pop up in my inbox/junk mail folders - less than what was downloaded. The deleted items folder is empty. Nod32 Logs report nothing, Quarantine is empty.
So for some reason its deleting emails.
Thing is, it doesn't tell or warn me of anything. I've changed a few options in the settings under "email protection" and set it to move files to the deleted items folder, and messed with the threatsense settings but its made no difference
Is this a bug?
All I want is to be able to see the mails it deletes - or be notified that they were viruses etc - just incase one of them is a legitimate email.
