can anyone tell me if this

In a word, yes.

However I'm not sure if you'll be able to run that Netgear router at its faster 108mbps speed with those USB adapters, you quite often need to use manufacturer specific USB adapters to do that, you'll probably need to check the details of the router on the Netgear website to see if it'll work.

If you're happy running at 54mbps though either of those USB adapters will do the trick

can anyone recommend a dongle that runs at the right speed that is not a netgear had one of those packed in after six weeks

OK, the top one has no reviews but it should be ok, it supports wep and wpa authentication and the price is right.

The bottom one has 7 reviews which are not that positive.

I have got 2 Netgear WG111T adapters which have been used daily for over 12 months and never had a single problem with either but, they dont get very good reviews.
