Question

Need to upgrade my home pc.

Currently 350 P11, want to move to maybe an AMD 1.4.
Need 300w case to run all my peripherals.

Anyone got any recommendations?

I got a Abit KG7-Lite motherboard, which seemed to have good reviews and the right price for me! It 'only' has 2 memory slots, you can get the KG7 or KG7-Raid which have more memory slots etc.

Got it from http://www.ram-direct.com/ currently on there at £101

Then AMD 1.4 is £98 and 300w case is £52.

I got my CPU from this place though as they were cheaper than RAM for CPUs.

http://www.lightcomputers.com

Nowt to do with either company, just 2 local companies I used when building mine. Don't forget you probably need faster RAM.

cheers,

greg

Try ebuyer.com for some of the cheapest prices I've found on these.

Also scan have a deal on Abit mainboards at the moment.

Thumbs up

Thanks all - Ebuyer looks good.

Looks like an investment in a 1600+ Athlon coming up.
