As the title suggests really, i'm not to clued up about computers i've got 2 laptops in mind this one and this one what are peoples thoughts on them, if you've got any other suggestions bang em in but i must be able to get it from Dabs as they have a nice buy now pay later scheme.

The toshiba has got an AMD processor i've heard that they are a poo compared to the Intels though, is thiat true ?

 

if i remember correct the AMD one on the tosh, is a 1.9ghz ,
AMD isn't that bad..
comparison to an intel?.... erm.. 1.73ghz?? +/- anyone correct me?

 

I have a HP 6715b Laptop, AMD Turion 64x2, runs Vista 64 bit like a dream, has a really nice screen too with 1600 x 1050 resolution, bluetooth, wireless 2gb ram, fingerprint sensor, 160Gb hard drive and DVD write all for 520 quid
