Its out on DVD in the US, and is available through all the normal "distribution channels"

Yup, downloaded - errr, sorry, rented this last night. If you like Donkey Kong (or other 'classic' video games) then it's a good film.... and worth watching.

I actually found it quite amusing and quite interesting, but I think it's erring towards the Geek end of watchable! Anyone expecting to see something exciting and modern, in the shape of any video game made this century need not bother!

The ending is the best part.... yay! But how funny / geeky / damn right 'punch my lights out' annoying is the "Donkey Kong KILL SCREEN coming up any minute, if you want to see it... Donkey Kong KILL SCREEN over there..." ****.. Jeez!

I just thought it was a fascinating insight into some of the "unusual" personalities that inhabit the world of competitive gaming.

Being a kid growing up in that era helped as well of course.

Well worth a watch if you ask me.
