New BT Home Hubs?
Just been given a new BT Home Hub by my mother as she was sent a new one for some random reason and has no need for it, her old one actually works properly for some strange reason
anyway this new one is in a different case, smaller and sleeker, looks quite nice
are these any better then the ****e mk1 versions, i had countless problems with my old one, wondering if they revamped them due to complaints?
at the moment i`m using a 4 port wired voyager 240 (wired to both the desktop and the xbox 360) with an added wireless access point, just for the laptop to browse around the property (surf **** in bed etc etc )

did some searching about and found out the new versions were released in october last year, called the v1.5
also BT released some updated firmware for the older hubs in november to fix the "strict nat" xbox live issues many were having, unsure about this part as i cant get to my box at the moment.
will use this new hub for a week and see how the connection is.

I have found the wifi is ok, not the best but 150% better than the originals. The DSL is more stable & connection uptime is more reliable. The LAN is better, and USB support is a bonus not featured on many other routers.
Overall i would rate it 8/10 considering its free!
