Nah, I'm working on something far more top secret than that. Was working till just after 9pm last night, so I think I'm entitled to a lunchbreak

Yep..
40Gb PS3 with 4 games and component video lead all for around £390. Quite please with that deal
I really must stop buying stuff when I'm bored though. Already bought a macro lens for my camera this week. Think I may have to have a couple of cooldown months now

Seriously though, which games did you go for ?

LOL
I went for Motorstorm, Resistance, Uncharted, and Ratchet & Clank. I'm only going to get stuff for it that you can't get for the 360...

Pontificating
Finally succumbed then
You'll enjoy Uncharted (don't bother playing on anything other than hard), after completing COD4 I started playing Resistance (free with the machine) and wasn't too keen on the way it handled so left it, too busy messing with the free demos from the PS3 shop, nothing like a bit of on line Burnout for the Take Down by the beach. Enjoy your new toy
Just Bob269 to convert now

Was that the demo of Super Rub-a-Dub? Been dithering on buying that one. My PSN recommendations are Super Stardust HD (if you like Geometry Wars or the original off the Amiga) and Pixel Junk Monsters (get the demo off the Japanese store, the full game is very hard).

I know. The online stuff does seem a little naff to be honest
Yep, I'm tempted by that one. Just off to download the other demos now.
Has anyone got this PSP->PS3 remote play thing working? All I seem to be able to make it do is timeout while trying to connect...

My flatmate has it working over the internet and via a direct connection between the two. Its quite cool as you can watch vids/listen to music that is stored on the HDD, the quality isn't as good when you are using an internet connection but still very watchable (you can see the compression artifacts). Some games have Remote Play compatibilty, i need to pair the PSP with my PS3 so I can play Pixel Junk Monsters remotely.

Thats one down and two still to go

My money is on Bob as we Scottish are stubborn ***** esp the nutters from Dunfermline.

Decided to keep both myself for the moment, anymore failures and its kapuut for the 360, and follow Iains philosphy of buying the games for appropraitte machine. Multi format release titles with a decent online aspect will be covered by the 360. Games that will be mainly single player i will buy for the PS3 and enjoy marathon sessions with piece of mind that it aint gonna die for
