I'm having too much fun beating the clans at Forza Hot lap champs

I got an invite to help them setup some laptimes with a credits bribe tonight .... those geeks will do anything to win.

and I won't fold on the PS3 front. Just spec'd the Cinema room in my new house so I can't afford it now

Launch day 360 all the way

Does the 40GB PS3 not have Wi-Fi connectivity?

Cool

Thanks for that. I had read in quite a few places that it didn't, but I was sure it did. I am toying with getting one, but if it did not have Wi-fi it would have been a no go.

Yep, I can confirm that it definitely does have wi-fi. My problem with the machine is I'm getting bored with it already and I've only had it a couple of weeks

Do any of the few games available for the PS3 movie player actually use the motion sensors of the highly evolved PS1 controller, apart from Rub-a-Dub that is....

Uncharted does to balance on logs and stuff. Bit pointless though.

Uncharted uses it for log balncing and - WIthout being spoilerific, something else later in the game.

You can control MotorStorm with it for steering is you want.

You can add spin and that sort of thing in TW2008

You use it in Heavenly sword for various functions

You use it in Lair for flying

Basically quite a high percentage of PS3 games use it with varying degrees of success.

Ratchet and Clank uses uit for flying around as well. Doesn't really seem to add very much to the game though (I'd rather use the sticks).

Let's face it, the whole tilt sensor thing was just a smokescreen to cover for lack of dual-shock when PS3 was released.

Cool

Another query, do games like COD4 support use of mouse and keyboard on PS3? Someone tells me they will, but I have doubts.

But then the PS3 would be a sensible size in comparison. Ken is massive, the PS3 is, er massiver It wasn't particually funny in the first place, but now I've had to explain it
