Default Laptop Help

When using my new laptop, the screen brightness is fine, but when I use it while it is charging off the mains, its so bright it gives me a headache.

Is there anyway that I can adjust it, so i can use it while its charging ??

should be three ways to change it!

1st is from the laptop power options, right click desktop, display settings, and its on the advanced part some where, I have vista so cant check,
2nd way is the FN key on the keyboard and look for a picture of the sun with an arrow pointing down.
3rd way is in the BIOS.. choose brightness when on mains !

If you are not familiar with Bios settings I would strongly advise you leave it to someone who does as you can cause some proper problems if you change the wrong settings

The function keys should be more than adequate till you can ask someone to do it for you.

DEL or F2 on boot normally..

Just dont press anything silly..

Sometimes it Alt+P to change pages on laptops once in BIOS and use up and down keys and + and - to change things
