multimedia hard drive
does anyone knows if theres anything like these that can play rmvb files?

i like rmvb, as i can convert mpg to rmvb,for about half the size and without losing any/many quality. whats the next format that is small?

DivX/Xvid are fairly efficient and loads of players around that support those.
h.264 mpeg4 is widely regarded as the current "best" but fewer standalone players support that at the moment. There's loads of specs and examples for the format on the internet if your interested.
I've got one of these currently which is great for me but no h.264 support:
MvixUSA : Revolutionizing Portable Entertainment : Mvix Wireless Hi-Definition Media Player MX-760HD
Couple of blokes at work have these which do support h.264 but the software on them is considered a work in progress and still needs a fair bit of development:

And I've got one of these coming in Jan is looking at being similar spec to the popcorn but in a more polished final product:
KJ Global Ltd. TVIX M-6500A
So I may have the mvix 760 for sale in a couple of weeks...
