phone cable bits?
I need to move the router to enable streaming to my Xbox,
the standard phone cable that came with the router is too short, is it just a normal double jacked phone cable, or do i have to have some exotic bit of kit thats going to cost the earth.
Also filters... All the filters i got with my USB modem, only have two pins in the phone/ modem side, yet the one i got with the router has all four pins in place.
where can i get one of these filters? or cable, as the old 2 wire cable (came with the modem) didnt seem to work last time

why not keep the router where it is ? Buy these
Devolo MicroLink dLAN Highspeed Starter Kit
Plug the router into spare nearby electrical socket
Plug the xbox into another
Off you go - the router connects to the xbox (and anything else you need) over your electrical supply
Microfilters can be purchased a lots of places ie. Maplin, PC World, local computer shops, etc...

Yeah, but they'll allow you to put the Xbox ANYWHERE in the house.
If you just want a bigger cable, pop into Maplin and ask for a longer ADSL lead:
Maplin > adsl lead
