USB memory sticks - security.
Foolishly today I left my USB stick in a shared PC at work and came back to find it gone.
Now the few important files on it are password protected but is there any way of password protecting the whole contents of a usb stick?
I'm going to buy a new one and restore the backup from my PC so any advice would be welcome.

Depends on the stick n software that comes with it I guess.
The Sandisk Cruzer 2GB effort I got recently, has a access pw built in using some little launcher app, so you can't do anything with it, til u enter the pass. You can obviously toggle this on or off, works well.

anyone know of some good software for anyone who already has a memory stick without inbuilt security.
I have come across a few things, but they have been fiddly to say the least

After finding out the security ones are £50 + I popped to Tesco and picked up another 2gb Sony one.
Will just have to remember not to leave this one behind

Eh? My sandisk was £11 !
Amazon.co.uk: Sandisk Cruzer Micro U3 4Gb Readyboost: Electronics & Photo: Sandisk
Didn't have any of them in the local shops , only security ones I could find were in fact £50 like I said.
If I hadn't needed on sharpish i'd have gone for your suggestion
