Default Buying a laptop in the US?

Hi All,

Will be travelling to the US next month for a bit of pre-xmas shopping and looking at some PC stores it's very tempting to take advantage of the exchange rate and pick up a laptop.

Now would this be as simple as buying the UK power pack when I get back home to make it more UK friendly or are there likely to be wider issues?

Cheers

David

Hello

You don't need a different power supply as nearly all laptops will run on 100V - 240V. The keyboard will be differently laid out and ... erm ... that's about it!

My wife has an American laptop and is very happy with it.
