Updating iTunes and moving all your music??
Probably really simple this....
but I have on occasion been asked if I would like to updat my iTunes, tried it once a year a ago but could not move the music so gave up, is it simple
what do i need to do

Upgrading the version of iTunes should not require you to move your music. Part of the idea is that your music stays where it is as iTunes should know where it is thanks to it's library index.
All you should need to do is download the latest version of iTunes (or just run the current version you have and it should report there is an updated version) and then run it and it will update.
To be on the safe side I'd backup your music folder, just in case anything odd happens, but it shouldn't do and I've never had a problem performing an iTunes upgrade.
