Default PSP modding ??

Been out off the whole psp scene for a good while now so no doubt the " homebrew " scene has well changed ??!! just wonder if the psp as it is ie. not firmware upgraded / downgraded can play pre converted movies straight from a memory card or is a certain firmware change required ??

whats actually involved in converting one off the recent psp models to be able to play backup games ?? still have to play the games thru a loading programme etc ?? if a fimware change has been carried out can the unit still play all the latest games just out ??

questions, questions, questions ??!!

Converted movies that you own can be played direct from stick
I've never liked this software but it's the most popular:
PSP Video 9 - PSP Video Converter

If you want to backup games you own to reduce the risk of damaging the original UMDs, you need to install one of the latest custom firmwares (3.71m33-3 I think) and this will let you play an iso of said backup straight off stick without 3rd party loader.
Slim and lite psp can be "altered" with trick battery and custom installer.

Not that I would.
Ever.
Obviously.

No probs.
If you know someone with a custom firmware PSP, do a google for
Pandora's Ultimate Magic Stick
that'll sort you out proper.
