Just gone through the motions again and it looks as if they've stopped shipping to the UK
I got (Google translation):
This article can unfortunately not at the desired location to be shipped. You can either change the shipping address or article from your order, delete, by the number of units to 0, and then click update.

Here's an email reply to someone that questioned why they stopped selling to the UK:
Dear Customer
Thank you for contacting Amazon.de.
We are sorry that we cannot provide you with the required
information as your question addresses our internal procedures.
As it was informed in the last Mail, we are unable to ship some of
the items from our "Elektronik & Foto"-Shop (Electronics & Photo
store) and our "Haus & Garten"-Shop (Home & Garden store) outside
Germany or Austria.
Now we donot ship the item "Nintendo Wii Konsole - Wii Sports Bundle
white" to UK.
Thank you for your interest in Amazon.de.

Yep cheers, been looking into it more and apparently they took the same stance as Amazon.fr which was to stop shipping to the UK after they received too many orders That confirms it though so he will have to try and find somewhere else now that will ship to the UK.

Yes I did and it arrived two days later. Sadly it didn't work, but Nintendo UK sorted it out within the week. Top service all around.
Amazon.de stopping taking orders last Friday and then started again the following day. No idea why. My guess is that they are swamped with orders since the article on the bbc website yesterday.
Maybe keep trying?

Hmmm should I nip to the supermarket and buy one of the numerous Wiis they have or not bother ???? hmm tough call but naaaaaaaah I don't think I will bother after all
Sorry lads but I just find it amusing the amount of trouble you lot are having getting these things!! bearing in mind they are not that good anyway.
They are fine as a 5 minute novalty or after a drunken night out with the lads but that is about it.
