VOB/IFO convert to mpeg?

What does everyone use to convert their files? I have downloaded a few things that claim they are free but only last 30days etc or only allow u 5mins of conversion time.
There must be some good free ones out there somewhere...

DVDX is free or was when I downloaded it. I used to use it for converting files to stream over to My XBox 360. Works ok too once you've got the settings sorted out.
