OK I might be particularly dim here but what does ugm mean ?

Anyay I've not changed anything and tried again but i'm still not working

Orb is yet again the man

Sent me a list of all files that the cheat detetctor things looks for. I searched for each one myself (took a while ).

The detector looks for (amongst others) a file called cs13.ini and lo and behold I had a file with that name in my windows directoy.

It contained nothing but the word 'conf' in square brackets, removed it and Roberts yer mothers brother, I'm fine again.

No idea what software put it there or may still need it but it's gone and I'm fine again

I also reinstalled CS and assorted patches from fresh and actually got around to sorting out my gamma levels and mouse sensitivity and for the 10 mins I played I couldnt miss, bring on tomorrow nights sesh !!

If everybody is now happy with the locked server (i.e. no problems), then the anti cheat stuff can migrate to the public server. Maybe just give it a few days.....
