AutoCAD Question???
Ok, I'll try and explain as best I can. One of our CAD machines has decided to show polylines as a wire frame (rectangle) instead of its set thickness. anyone know the command to return it to normal?

Nope, not the LWT button at the bottom of the screen. When drawing a polyline and giving it a width of say 5 you expect a thick line to be drawn. What is happing is its registering the width but only generating a rectangle. Another way to explain it is draw a pline with 0 width then pedit ,width and give the pline a width. What should appear is a wide line but in this case an outline is being shown similar to a rectangle in appearance. Another example is with text. It shows an outline of each letter instead of a solid filled text when zoomed in.

Go to:-
Tools, Options, then click the DISPLAY tab..
in the bottom-right of the dialogue box you need to check the settings for the SHOW TEXT BOUNDARY FRAME ONLY and APPLY SOLID FILL
Sorted
