Boot Camp & XP Upgrade
Hi quick question.
Is there a work-around for installing Windows XP Upgrade in Boot Camp, as opposed to the Full version.
I don't fancy shelling out £170, when i bought the Upgrade when it was first released.
Cheers,
Daz

The only way I've heard of getting this to work is if you attach an external cd/dvd drive to the machine before doing the install. Have a read of this.
One thing to be aware of is that Boot Camp under 10.4 is still beta and it will expire when 10.5 is released this Friday (October 26th). The expiry isn't going to stop things from working as yet, but certainly as of the end of the year the Boot Camp Assistant on 10.4 will refuse to run.

Thanks Markus, interesting article. I'm sure we've got an old external drive at work.
10.4 issue won't be a problem, as i've ordered 10.5 for my MacBook, and i'm waiting till the 26th to order my nice new 24" iMac. It's just annoying that i need XP to use AutoCAD (at least i can finally get rid of my pcs).
Cheers, Daz
