Default Using an ADSL router on cable

I'm running Vista and have been trying to work out how to use my ADSL router with my cable connection...

I was thinking alone the lines of connection sharing !

Any thoughts?

Are you talking about an ADSL Router as in one that plugs into a BT line ?

Or a Cable DSL Router to use for multiple PC's

You won't be able to use the ADSL router for connection sharing so you will need a broadband (cable) router. You will be able to use the ADSL routers LAN interfaces to add addional connectivity to your network though.

Not with one one ethernet port though, thats the problem.

You see if you connection two pcs with a cross over cable or .. dare I say it directly with a wireless connection you can share the Internet connection one of the PCs has.

I thought it worth a pondering
