this is on my comp (MESH )
press the key to the left of the 1 (dont know what its called) and above the tab key. this brings down the console, and then just enter your cheat code, i.e. /god
console replies - god mode on
i only needed this once - in the room where you meet the super soldier for the first time. the big baddie at the end was a bit disappointing :0 just keep running around (aka DOOM) and firing.............. easy peasie!!!!!!!!!!!

Not being able to use the ~ is down to the keyboard mapping I think, IIRC the ~ is next to the 1 on a US keyboard. Happens in lots of software.

"Cheats not available on server" - you are running single user aren't you?

Also you've probably seen this already but
"Also, some people have not been able to use the cheats unless they first load a saved game. New players can start, save, then load the save and the cheats should work."

I've not had a problem, the one time I tested it

I managed to waltz through it without any and im getting an old fart these days

 

Yeah the old reaction times have slowed down now the old age has started to set in

There must be another cheating person out there or am I the only one

 

Use the info on www.planetwolfenstein.com. Does exactly what is says on the tin.

remember though, you might have to specify the shortcut as...
"c:\program files\or whatever the path is\wolf.exe" + sv_cheats 1
ie; outside the quotes.

 

Just completed it on normal mode ( i.e. the middle one) . not a cheat code in sight!

ive got a trainer (inf health and ammo)for this if someone can tell me how to put it up for others to download as per other forums i will or email me and i'll send it to you

Anyone actually managed to get the cheats working?

I've added the +set sv_cheats 1 line to the shortcut, but on entering any cheat code it says cheats not available on server.

Also created the user.cfg file and added the line, same result

Anyone suffering the same?

Oh, and I can't seem to "bring down the console" using the ~ command either....I can only get the console down when I press ` (the button to the left of 1)

i did get manage to get it to work (intially had the same trubs as you)---- but ---- cant remember how !!
