Old school request
Yes there is a bit of a pun in the title
Back in the dark ages I rememebr the RM (Research Machines) machines we used to use at school, 480z's if I recall correctly. I also remember our form room having some whizzy new RM PC's (Nimbus something or others).
One of my fondest memories were two games on the 480z, both were text adventures, the first had you trying to escape from somewhere by solving mathematical problems, the other had you as a journalist for a newspaper, I think that one was called Scoop.
I don't suppose anyone else remembers these two games and if so, what their names actually were, and more specifically, I don't suppose there are any emulators out there for the 480z (or later models that'd run the games), plus, of course, I'd love to be able to play those games.
I know, things have moved on, but I've always wanted to have a go at scoop and the maze thing and see if I could solve them now
Any info greatly appreciated.

If you don't get any joy on here, you'd definitely be better off asking the same question on here:

I'll bet you get the answers you're looking for
My school only had 380z's (sniff!)

I cut my teeth on a 480z as well. We had some civilisation sim for 'fun' and the rest was about adding one mostly. Years later when i came across Age of Empires i thought it was the same game with nicer piccies
