Ipod touch and OSX 10.3.9
Question for some of the Mac guy's (Markus)
Just got hold of an ipod touch and checking the requirements it say's 10.4 is needed. Anyone know of a way of letting we sync with 10.3 so I don't have to buy an OS upgrade which is about to be superseeded..?
Running a 1.25ghz G4 powerbook, and going to need a memory upgrade as well as it only has 512mb of memory..

Ben, I've sent you a private message
There isn't any way I've heard of that allows you to use the iPod Touch, or any of the new iPods and the iPhone with anything other than 10.4.8 or later, 10.4.10 being the latest (10.4.11 is near to being released).
You have a choice of what to do really. Get a copy of 10.4, which will run on the setup you have, or wait for 10.5 and get that. This would at least bring you up to the very latest version of Mac OS X, so you'd not need to pay twice for the OS.
You could always ask at the local Apple store what the policy is with regards to getting an upgrade to 10.5 if you purchase 10.4 now, as it's due to ship in October. I don't think they will do anything, but it's worth asking.
