Netgear NAT problem
Hi all, looking for some help/ advice. Have a Netgear DG834GT adsl modem /router. Thought I had portforwarding sorted but (foolishly) upgraded to latest Firmware. Since then I cannot get Azureus or anyother BT client to work, it says the port is blocked. Looked in the router and I have the usual ports open and the last one is All ports (1-65534) block always. the designated port for azureus is above it in the Firewall rules. If I switch it to "allow" then Azureus works fine, but I am unsecure. Am i missing something or is the firmware buggered? I am trying to go back a version.
Just in case I am being slow.....
Cheers

Slight aside - but if you're running XP you can turn on UPnP (last option in the list on the left hand side menu of the router). In Azeurus you can set it to use uPNP, and it'll sort out the forwarding automatically (tools|options|plugins|UPnP)

Oddly was using uPNP worked fine till flashed to latest, said Port was matched, but not open when you check. Did use GT flash version. Might try again, now I have the working backup.
