As per the title.
I've been able to down load emails through Outlook all day and have been able to view some websites. But others (Such as SN) have just not wanted to load. Even now I'm on here, all the ad's and SN banners are just read crosses..
I've sent an email to support@virgin.net, but haven't had a reply as yet.
Just wondering if its my area (Essex), or a national thing.
(I'm on ADSL BTW)

I know pimmo will say it is coincidence, but DNS does seem to be worse since the rebranding?

Sorry to sound thick, but whats a DNS problem then?
Pimmo, I know their helpline is expensive. I'm fooked if I'm ringing them and paying to tell them they've a problem somewhere! Thankfully my contract is nearly up with them, so I'll be able to go elsewhere soon enough.
BTW, this morning it all seems to be working fine.

DNS means we can type in scoobynet.com instead of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx(IP address)
But you need a (DNS) server to lookup the number for your (domain) name, and can then "put you through"
When its broken, its sort of like having two phone books, one with names and one with numbers, and no way of finding out which number belongs to which name.
Something like that anyway....
