Well yet again another wired mic has failed me, so instead of buying on for £12.99 i can get a messenger kit inc a mic for £19.99 now heres the stupid but valid question.

Will the chatpad only work with the messenger function of the 360 or can you send reguler text messages with it to people on your friends list?

Gonna order one tonight if thats the case, te messenger function on the 360 just seems to jam uo the dashboard so its uselss to me.

it works for all areas of the 360 that require a tesxt input. messenger or SMS works for one and all

It's a neat little gadget, don't how I ever managed without it. Particularly useful for naming saved games and photos. Its also backlit.

Yeah i send a lot of text messages via my 360, at £19.99 delivered from gameplay its a must!
