Apple announced, at a special media event in London, that the iPhone will go on sale on 9th November for £269 inc VAT. Network is to be O2. Price plans vary for the iPhone, but they all include unlimited data (subject to use - so no torrents and things like that I'd presume, same as the AT&T clause)
Seems there was not mention of a 16GB model, only the 8GB, and it does appear to be the same version as the US, and thus there is no 3g capability.
