MSN messenger update

i have been using msn 7.5 for a long time, i never liked the newer versions and never updated, but now i have a message telling me that i need to update to continue

is there anyway to stop the upgrade>?

did some googling, no way around the update

god i hate this windows live malarkey

Switch to thunderbird, all the updates are seamless and automatic
