So do they repair the console and pay you for it or is this a self paid repair then compensated?

 

Its only for consoles repaired by microsoft, if they broke outside of the initial 1yr guarantee period ms charged £80 for repair, they now offer 3yr warranty, anybody who's paid ms to repair the console already get a refund on the repair costs.

 

MS said:

"We will also retroactively reimburse any of you who paid for repairs related to problems indicated by this error message (RROD) in the past."
