How many people know that you can get the analogue TV signals from your NTL digital coaxial cable?
Well I found this out from a friend and yes it does work.
I have split the cable coming out the wall box and one cable goes into the cable in and the other into the UHF in.
The problem is that somewhere along the line the signal is clashing with the video and the cable UHF output.
I have to unplug the split to watch the cable in other rooms but plug it back in to get the terrestrial channels.
The aim of this is so I don't have to mess around with an internal ariel and I can pump out the cable/video/DVD to all the tellies in the house. I know this can be done as I had it all working in the previous house BUT didn't split the cable, I had an external ariel.
Does anyone know why I am getting interfference?
Hard to explain (and not explained well... )
