How do I find a week-old web page?
I looked in Kelkoo last week (not on this PC), found the cheapest place selling a camcorder, and ordered it.
It arrived today but without the promised 4GB memory stick.
I phoned up and told them, they're looking into it but I got two separate people telling me it wasn't included in the price / package.
Now I know it says it was included on their web-page, I specifically looked as I'd heard of some companies selling it without. (It is even written as included on the box and in the instructions that describe the contents of the box). Unfortunately the webpage is no longer on their site as they said they take the product's page off when it's out of stock.
I think I'm supposed to be able to find a cached page, but I viewed it on a hotel PC which is now the other side of the Atlantic, so I can't search my own cache. Can anyone tell me how I can find and save the page again, in case they claim it wasn't included? (I think sometimes it can be done via google, but I'm not an expert )
Website was dvd players, dvd recorders, plasma televisions, digital camcorders LCD televisions and home cinema systems at the best prices and the camcorder was a sony HDR-CX6, if you go looking for me.
Many thanks in advance
Brendan

In the results of a Google search you get a link to the cached version of the page. Might give what you want ... not sure how often G update that cache though. When you click on that it will then show you the date/time Google cached that page plus contents.

I can find cached google pages of say kelkoo, pricegrabber where they list that company as having the product available, but I can't then go from the cached page to that company's cached page, of course it says "page not found" etc.
Yesterday they said they'd post me a new one. Here's hoping. Wife also wondered if the camera isn't new as the date and clock were already set correctly. Suspicious.
