Default Any Sonicwall support companies on here?

Our current support company has let us down too many times, so we've let the support contract expire normally.

The company is taking far too long to give us the admin & password details so we can get into the box.

Am I right in thinking we own the box (ie. the support company who supplied it don't) and are therefore within our rights to ask for the info ?

As if by magic.....

The only way to get the userid and password would be to set the box back to factory defaults. The problem will be that the config will be set back to factory defaults as well.

You would be within your rights to the info but it might be that the support company don't know what it is. Do you know if the box is under SonicWALL maintenance ?

Feel free to mail me if you want to chat about this. I run a SonicWALL Gold Partner company so should be able to help.

The support company DO know how to access via admin account.

Is the box under SoniexWall maintenance ? I doubt it, as our contract expired with the support company.

I'll try the nice approach and see what happens.
