New Laptop advice
I'm after a laptop and have narrowed it down to 4 possibles.
Acer 5920:
Intel T7300
2G Ram
Intel Ready boost ram
160G HDD
256M 8600MGT
15.4" screen
£800
Evesham Zieo N500-HD:
Intel T7300
1G Ram (667MHz)
1G Intel flash ram
120G HDD
512M 8600MGT GPU
17" screen
£999
Evesham Zieo N550-HD:
Intel T7500
2G Ram (667MHz)
1 G Intel flash ram
160G HDD
512M 8600MGT GPU
17" screen
£1099
Rock Pegasus 670:
Intel T300
1G Ram (667MHz)
120G HDD
8600MGT (not sure how much memeory)
15.4" screen
£899
I know that all the specs are fairly similar but would like an independant opinion on which one to go for as I have a tendancy to go for shiny things with lots of toys just for the sake of it. It will mainly be used as a replacement for our home desktop and will be used for a few games, video/photo editing and in the future possibly some 3D CAD.

Cheers for the heads up on that Bodgit, a quick google and it appears that Evesham have indeed gone into administration PC Pro: News: UPDATED: Evesham in administration
Had a look on their website too and the laptop's I was looking at have been withdrawn anyway!
I think I'm going to go for the Acer. slightly better spec and with the optional warranty it's still roughly the same price as the Rock. The Acer also got a Gold award in last months What Laptop.
Cheers fellas

Dell 9400 with a 7900GT 17" tft with "truelife"
Often kicking around on E-bay sold by dealers.
You can get them from about 7-800 if you are lucky. Very nice machines. You can extend the warentee with Dell in most cases.
