Default xcopy alternatives?

I'm having some issues when using xcopy in backup scripts - I believe it isn't copying it's supposed to (missing data & files).

Can anyone recommend an alternative?

Are you using switches such as /S /H for subfolders, hidden/system files etc.

Theres many different options, just type xcopy /?

Tried robocopy. It's in the resource kit or support tools, can never remember which.
