No XBOX elite thread?
Ok so yesterday they announced the release date for the 360 Elite, 24th August.
No this does appeal to me, I have been holding out on purchasing the 360 in hope that the elite would be around the same price..... this is where im stuck!
Play at selling the elite (pre-order) at £329.99 Which is a good few quid over the premium model
Rekon its worth it?

various speculation is Q3-Q4 for the 65nm chips. they've done things like modify the heatsinks already and add an extra one. Obviously time will tell if they've improved things.

Anyone know if there's a way of telling if you have the additonal heat sink by the serial no. or manufacture date?

Called them the other day and got some stroppy bloke who said it was in Prague. So its lagering it up in some strip club while I wait patiently for its return 
Just noticed the new backwards compatibility update. It lists Drive to Survive and Drive to Survive (EM) on there. Can anyone test out Mashed or Mashed Fully Loaded that has it to see of they work now ?
