we use it, it was rolled out a few months back... i think it was more of a corporate decision... ensuring people had access to required information incase of network problems, dr, etc etc.
it was a pain to push out (boring, time cnsuming) as we had to do most manually as apparantly the scripted techniques available to us gave no confirmation whether the update had been successful...
now its in tho and users are aware they have access to there emails even if the connections lost they find it very useful

We use it here for a small site (150-200 users - the rest are on Lotus Notes
).
Not bad, just have to watch out for cached information not being pulled down to the client i.e. GAL updates etc.
Havent had many problems with corruption, watch out for Office 2007 and large mail files (office slows down when 1Gb+ mailboxes)...but either way theres a patch for it.
