looking at a DS Lite for my daughter to take on holiday...
Cheapest seems to be about £100. Ebay is no cheaper. However, I was thinking about getting on in the duty free at the airport.....
is it any cheaper? You can't really call them up to find out how much they are!!
Any other suggestions?

If your phone contract is up, then Orange will give you a free one for all contracts over £30 this month. I just got one with mine the other day, but I've given it to my sister this morning, or I could have done you a cheap deal.

Yep been looking as well Dan, tbh on ebay second hand ones dont go for much less than new. We were out in Lanzarote thought I was going to get a cheap one but they are all out to rip you off!
Its funny go into any shop and ask how much for a DS and the guy will say 85-90 euros, damn cheap you say does that come with a charger? O no they say with charger its 135 euros, hmmm 50 euros for a charger!
Or another favourite tactic is to bundle one of these 100+ gameboy advance game cartridges and rip you off on that. One guy tried telling me that it was 250 euros for the game, I was like Ive seen on ebay mate for £40. Bottom line is I couldnt get one any cheaper.

I had that in Tenerife!!!
£35 for a Game Boy Colour but you had to buy a game, the cartridge contained loads of games as you say and the calculator comes out as they charge for every game on it! They wanted £130 in total!

Best deal seems to be Gamestation - DSLite + 2 games for £129.
Also won Mario vs DonkeyKong 2 on Ebay for £12
So much for spending about £100

Yep and quite a few of these electronic shops are shutting down now as I think they cant fool punters anymore as the internet is a great place for finding information out.

My daughter wants one, trouble is she wants a pink one which kinda causes me a problem for me if I want to hang onto my sexuality and use it in public places!

Got Mario Kart too. Going to get Nintendogs (labrador) as well. Just waiting for Mario vs Donkey Kong 2 to arrive as well
