Got AOL Silver but only seeing 0.5mb
I've been with AOL a while now and only recently investigated my true download speeds. I'm only getting just over 0.5mb and yet I'm paying for their 1mb Silver service (soon to be 2mb)
I realise it's not an AOL problem but my BT line. Is there a way of finding out when the lines are being upgraded in my area?
I was thinking of changing to Sky in the future and going for the max 20mb package. Not much point if the line won't support it.
Just annoyed that I pay £17.99 for AOL and not benefiting the full service.

Chances are its AOL not BT..
I have a 3 mb capable line, and a 2mb aol connection (well its supposed to be)
AOL are trying the old "Upto" trick, but fell foul when shown that the fault is there end..
DOnt expect any sympathy or support, even when it's there fault.
They admit they should have connected me on a 2MB service, but i now have to wait while they upgrade the system, (promised date of june was missed and now its back to august / september) And they dont do manual priority upgrades either..
roll on december, and its mac code for me, unless they resolve the issue
