Poor Guy

im seriously stuffed. can someone please help me.

i put my pen drive into my laptop earlier to do some work. removed it. then later i put it into my pc to take some files off it. safely remove it all seems hunky dory. Ive returned to my laptop to find all the files have funky new names and cannot be opened.
I return it to my pc and vista comes up with this helpful little box to fix some problems on the drive. excellent i thought, clicked to fix and now its deleted a the files and now Ive lost my college work and im getting extremely mad and upset.
ive tried smart flash recovery and it came up with nothing useful.

help please

Hi , try the computer section . I know there are places that can probably get the data back if its worth the cost. See what response you get in other section.

Sounds like you've been infected by a virus.

My advice would be to not open any files on your laptop from the stick...

or prepare for a full reformat...

Do you not have antivirus software installed where you work/study??

Well, I'm no expert you must understand - but in my experience, there's not much you can do if these things get a hold.

That's when IT backup comes to the rescue.....
