360 wheel and Forza: Excellent
I bought Forza 2 and CM: Dirt last week from Gamestation online (£55 delivered) and they arrived on Saturday, so Sat afternoon I went out and bought the wireless wheel so I could play both games from the off with the wheel without having to start with the pad first.
So, put the batteries into the wheel, loaded up Forza and had an hour or so's playing time - initial reaction was good, wheel felt nice although I wasn't keen on the Force Feedback which just felt like a rumble pad to me - it was then I read the instructions again and realised that FF only works with the power pack plugged in.
Power hooked up, and WOW, what a wheel!! I never liked the GT3 wheel I had as the FF was too much, but I am very impressed with the 360 wheel - it makes such a difference to Forza as well. Just need to find time to play on Forza properly now, and try CMD though with a 3 month old son who's up every night that's tricky
For anyone considering the wheel, go and buy it - £80 is steep but its quality, and we're not on this earth for long.

Only got the wheel this weekend and used it for about 10 mins. Need to get a chance to practice a bit with it. I have to use it on my lap which didn't feel ideal. Hoping with a bit of time I can become competent with it. certainly is fun

I was using it on a small table for a while, but then got back ache so had to move it to my lap. Its usable on your lap, but I'm thinking of building a unit to house everything and maybe buy a cheap car seat to use as well
I built a full cabinet for my PS1 and GT (when I was young and lived with my folks), which had a seat, fixed pedals/wheel etc, and it was brilliant!!

I've no problem with using the wheel on my lap. Need to get the right seating position first though (usually sat on a beanbag)
