Undoing a bodged attempt at creating a network-HELP PLEASE.
Hi,
I tried to create a network to share a printer but i think its gone wrong. Anyhow i'm not bothered now,but there's two things i want to get rid of.
1.I have to select a user when i start my computer, before it just asked for my password.
2. All the time i get this message *No connection is currently available, then these choices WORK OFFLINE or TRY AGAIN.
I'm on win XP. Anyone know how to sort this out. I'd be grateful. (unfortunately i never created a restore point)
thanks
Paul.

I dont have an XP machine here, so its from memory, but I think its in the system in control pannel, one of those tabs has a drop down menu for boot options.
2nd one I assume is Internet?
If so have a look in connections _ internet options and see if you have a connection listed... or maybe
