CDs to MP3 format question
I had some really useful advice on this on a previous thread-thanks.
I have (using Windows Media)tranfered 9 hours of albumns onto 1 CD to play in the car. What I have noticed however is that the gaps between tracks is all wrong. It will cut out before the end of the track - then repeat the end of the last track before going onto the next. This is quite irritating - what have I done wrong?

Try the disk in another player. It may just be your headunit (Cheapo nasty Sony tosh perhaps?).
Oher than that, try burning another disk and see if it does the same. It'll only cost you a few pence, and you never know, it might solve the problem.
I'm not 100% sure how the tracks are worked out. There may be a hidden cue file that's slightly wrong.

Try another piece of software. I use Ashampoo MP3 Media Centre. You have more control on things such as normalising the volume for all tracks, so that you don't get louder tracks than others as an example. And it comnes with a nice user wizard for ripping and burning etc..
