Default Browser Cache probs

I keep getting this message;
"Your browser's cache is full and may interfere with your experience"
It's been doing it since last week when I had to revert back to a previous restore point using system restore.

It says that to clear the cache I need to go into tools/internet options and delete the temporary files etc which I have done but I'm still getting the message!

Any ideas? where's the cache stored on the PC?
